I feel like I need a day off and I haven't gone to work in a week. I was to tired for details last night so I just gave you that short statement. It still needs a hanger bearing but I loosened up the trans mount and pried the motor and transmission back an inch. It forced the bearing back into the wasted rubber and I straightened the hoop that holds it it's loose in the rubber but I only feal the vibration when I'm coasting off the go petal. Jack showed up there last night just before I got it running. I think he could tell I was a little stressed out and he told me if this motor was no good just take the one out of his Chevelle. I thought that was nice of him but thankfully I didn't need to do that bad enough the motor in my truck was supposed to get rebuilt for his Chevelle lol it's going to be a while before i rip back into my 454 but at least I know what I'm in for when it comes time to install it lol lots of practice. I've still got a few small problems to deal with like no temp gauge I never put the inspection cover back on after checking convertor bolts a)c brackets power to choke and the hole a/c wire harness so I have defrost. I'll button up all that small stuff this weekend and when the money is right again (not that it ever is) I need to overcome the rear brake issue with new drums and shoes. Oh well one day at a time I guess I just wish I could get more done faster

Ok so I'm thinking the temperature gauge is working and so is the cooling system all to well and maybe I need a hotter thermostat I think it's running so cool it doesn't move the needle much and I don't have heat like I used to. I think I like that 3 row Tig welded aluminum radiator. Some big time cleanup is in order bolth here and at the building so I loaded #1 and cast iron on my little trailer (Including the mark 5 and my old 307 olds) and I loaded the bed of the truck with light iron for gas money first thing Monday morning. I've got a lot more light iron here at the house that I'll put in the bed tomorrow morning. Before I head out to the building I left the trailer there tonight loaded. Tomorrow is cleanup day there but I'm going to try getting a little more done on the truck anyway. I've also made arrangements with the landlord Dave to bring the rig there and finish it up. That should be happening in the next few days.
