I think you will like that jack Eric. I'm confident it's up to the task. A 4L70E with a full torque converter is not real light.
Looks like I'm not going to find out this weekend. I've been siderailed agine because I'm such a scater brain at times

So far I found my oil leak. Remember that wrong sending unit? I know I bought one so I started looking for it. Well that took me even farther off course. Looking for the sending unit turned into cleaning and organizing another bed compartment that turned into finding the water leak in the cab. That turned into cleaning up cab lights from the dump truck and some that came with the truck here's what came off

Gee I wonder why they leaked?
And instead of easter eggs in the kitchen

Not the most important fix but a fix none the less

So with my addhd taking over I went back to looking for the sending unit and found the new grill now I'm looking for clips because I already took the old one off and that ugly thing is not going back on if nothing else I'm going to install as many parts as I can until I find what I was originally looking for

Its amazing what we can find to stay busy when we really want to avoid a task. I should be working on my water heater but have been online all morning.

I finally got back to the oil leak and it turned into a trip to 3 different parts stores the good one I wanted to go to was closed The other two were chaine stors with very stupid people. I ended up getting something that would work from home Depot lol go figure. So when I tried to unscrew the oil sending unit the brass fitting broak off in thr block removing it was no problem with an easy out but finding one burned up a large portion of the day. I ended up using a brass pipe nipple and a 90° . I still don't have a working oil pressure gauge but at least it's not leaking. I'm glad I didn't do the transfer case it got really cold and windy out and I'm sore and cold. I did however give it a facelift🙂

That grill should look really good when I change over to the round headlights with Amber parking lights

that thing is looking good, I'm kinda diggin the older grill w/ the square headlights, something different...

as others have stated, be extra careful taking the transfer case out, dealing with a bad wrist and an elbow that acts up from time to time, I can understand the problems with having to get things done. I like the idea of the wood blocks as an idea, and would def back that up with a ratchet strap before putting the full weight on the jack.

and here you were, thinking you hadn't accomplished much! 👍

Looks good man. Little things like those cab lights make a big difference in the finished product.

Thanks I just drove it to pick up Lauren at her friends house and by the time I got there 2 cab lights stopped working. I think it's pretty funny because all the broken ones worked fine lol
