Sorry I haven't been around guys but so far it's been a good weekend. Yesterday I tore into that rear suspension it sheared and bent the right rear center pin and that's why the rear was crooked. so I replace the center pin and I also added a set of lift blocks to the rear suspension to give me a little more shock travel and a little less angle on the pinion to drive shaft. I bought them when I was initially building the truck and didn't know where they were when I did the rear suspension so they never got put in. the lift is only an inch and a half by inch and a quarter I believe so it's not drastic but it makes the truck look a lot better I think, because it always looks like it was level or low in the back and I really don't want to be pulled over by dot for being overweight when I well probably am but really not. so far the only bad thing that's happened as I busted a wheel stud on the left rear. I truly think that that drum is off another truck because all the other studs on a truck look great and that one brake drum looks like somebody found in a river. I think next time I have it off I'm just going to replace all 8 studs in it. So here's some pictures of the Carnage.

Holy crap! I never realized the wheels were that far forward. I thought it was the pic after the pin sheared.
Yea no it's a bed from an 03 Chevy cab and chassis so it's the wrong wheel bace and I had to stretch the rear rails to accommodated to length that's why it was easy to use a 31 gallon Suburban gas tank with blazer crossmembers. it even has an in-tank fuel pump that's currently not hooked up just pulling the fuel through it. For future purposes of course. It still needs a wiring Guru. Hint hint lol I only use that bed because I got it for $300 delivered to my house. Oh and of course because it's not rotted.
Today so far I've spent the day frustrating myself with the whole parking brick scenario bouncing back and forth from the pictures and LMC illustration on page 50 of my thread trying to make sense of how this cable supposed to run. I'm at a loss. The LMC illustration doesn't show wear all those new hangers I bought her supposed to go my frame is slightly different than the frame that I have the pictures of on page 50 and it seems no matter how I run them they don't fit correctly I did however find that I needed to change the front cable because of four wheel drive cable is longer than a 2 wheel drive cable and it doesn't use the front bracket that I have it uses a hole in the frame to mount that cable the rest of it I am having a very hard time figuring out
one nice thing that you can see in the pictures is everything from that 2 wheel drive low mileage cab seems to be in really good shape I managed to retain and reuse the original floor grommet the run the cable through as shown in the second to last picture there
If any of you have any idea what I'm doing wrong please send me some pictures so I understand
