I can't get over the fact your boss does not trust you enough to let you have a key to your work.? I would not work for some one like that. Keep up the good work. Before long you will have a pretty green truck.
That's pretty common up here I'm just a number.

Ok guys here is those pictures I promised you that cowl was ugly but a couple of junk fenders and a plasma cutter and a big welder made quick work of it it's seam sealed painted and the truck is back together

It's definitely not my best work but I banged it out in record time. When I got up this morning I had no idea I was repairing a cowl. I did manage to do the shackle bushing I had set out to that was actually quite easy because it all ready had an aftermarket bushing in it

driving home it felt like it actually has working front suspension what a difference one bushing can make.
I think the icing on the cake today was the fender getting paint on it and I couldn't resist putting the emblem on for the first time

It's back together and home now we shall see what tomorrow brings

I gotta ask, once you patched in the heater box did you complete the weld then seam seal or just weld enough to hold it together then seam seal ? Only because I have cab corners, door bottoms, 2 x floor patches to put in on my work truck and really dont want to weld them in fully if I dont have to..... because work truck !!

Other than Philly, any place west of the PA/NJ line is good, better is not a emmisions county. AND most likely he won't have to hid his fleet from the anti-car Nazis'.

Normally I would fully weld my patch work however this repair was time-sensitive. Across the top and down the back I used our prospot and welded it is at the factory pinch welds the other areas I Edge welded some places in their entirety some places not so much gave it a quick grind went over it with some Crest thick and tan seam sealer that contains Inhibitors and is bare metal safe then I hit it with a self etching Prime and went over that with SEM olive green in a spray bomb and covered it with a shiny fender lol not my best work but sometimes done is better than perfect.
