$58K for a ZR1 sounds like a dream.
So, after trade in, it went to auction, sold for 58k, and has been listed by a flipper for $72,500. He hasn't given up any details, and the ad is hilarious knowing what is actually in the car. There was some really good sh*t in there earlier (twin cams in a ZR1? Maybe 1990), but they edited it. Still funny listing a 4.5L blower when they don't even make one. Also, listed as flex fuel, but is all e85 and has "methanol injection"!

Still got 14/20mpg on the EPA rating . . . 😆

Should have just put:

Fuel Economy: UM 🤔 . . . NO!

Putting extreme add on toys that apparently don't have an adequate S/W interface? :poop:

After exposing myself to boosted GenIV GM stuff, I can totally see why folks are going after the aftermarket EFI stuff. I can also understand the issues your friend had with his C6 ZR1. Most tuners just want to make a few WOT rips, give you a Dyno sheet, and send your *ss packing with no ****s given about a cold winter start or any other drivability issues. Those that charge an arm, leg, and a left nut do so because of the time and asspain involved to get that all just right.

You got that right! Hopefully, he can stay out of the computer on this one. The guy that installed the headers tried to pull some Mootang crap with rear O2 extenders or resistor packs or some sh*t, and it tripped the CEL. My buddy wouldn't put the headers in until he was sure it wouldn't have a light, and all the big boys (Lingenfelter, Vengance, etc.) said it would be fine. Then, this guy.....
