Squeeky Trunk ??

My trunk has a squeek that I can't seem to get rid of. I put on new adjustable bumpers. Silcone sprayed the seal and adjustment bars. the gas tank is new. Exhaust is new. What could it be??

Check your frame rails and body mounts behind the rear tires.
If the frame is rotten, it could very well be your bumper moving around causing the noise.

I had the same problem with my cutlass and monte a few years ago; try putting a couple pieces of scrap carpet under and behind the spare tire in the trunk.

WD-40 works on all of my squeaks even my locks and window motors I usually spray some after it rains or I wet the car.
