DST and leave it that way. The winter nights are long enough without it being dark at 4pm. It makes for long summer days too.
The whole world should just go to "Zulu" or GMT. Would save a lot of trouble. Yeah it would initially cause confusion but what change doesn't.The whole world (except only a couple of countries) lives on Greenwich Mean Time. The main fault of that, is that Zero degrees longitude goes through Greenwich. Instead of Greenwich being centered in the time zone, it is at the exact edge. If the entire world were adjusted by 1/2hr, there would never be a need for DST. But who is going to throw away 1/2hr as though it never existed? How, in the age of atomic clocks, would the recording of our physical events and history be recalculated?

Also, y'all (the collective y'all, not any one of y'all specifically) seem to like DST when its the middle of summer and you're out on the lake at 9pm or whatever. just throwing that out there.
I like standard time cause I don't have a tv to waste my time watching so it's nice that it gets dark early. I can head to bed early to read for a while and listen to am radio....and I like getting up early so it's nice that the sun comes up earlier.
Ugh, gross. You're one of those morning people.
it has it's perks, in the early morning I don't have to deal with grumpy people who need their sleep.....😊
but no matter how early I get up I still will not be woke...
