Star Wars saga comes to an end? I've seen it all...

Back in 2005 they said Episode 3 would be the final film. Disney will continue to milk SW as much as they can while injecting as much SJW BS as they can into it. Personally I think Episode 3 should have been the last SW film. There is simply no way to continue the story after the complete and perfect ending in Episode 6, especially with the SE version.

IMHO, Episode 1 is underrated, Episode 5 is way way overrated but still a good film. The hate torward Jar Jar is more annoying than Jar Jar hilmself who still is much more developed than any of the ST characters who are as shallow as a kiddie pool. Rey is one of the worst Mary Sues in fiction. The First Order makes zero sense, Kylo Ren is just a emo wannbe who despite being trained for years is somehow beaten by a untrained girl simply due to her Mary Sue power and plot armor.

Finn also makes zero sense as a kidnapped child soldier would likely not care about violence and would not likely defect. Furthermore, the dying nutrooper who wipes his bloody hand on Finn was supposed to be his only friend who was killed by Poe, which really makes no sense why he would help him. Not to mention that Finn had no qulams about killing his fellow nutroopers and the fact the original 6 Lucas films established that Stormtroopers are clones engineered with docile personalities to obey orders without question. Poe somehow not dying in the crash makes no sense besides committing war crime by lying about his surrender to that red head Tarkin knockoff. The stupid hyperspace ramming, going ultra fast to penetrate shields while the tradition in scifi is going slow to penetrate shields after Dune.

Overall, the ST is a lazy rehash of the OT that deconstructs the OT and PT. Craps all over the original characters and devolves them in order reboot the plot to a lazy empire vs rebels rehash. I really hated whst they did to Han, Luke, and Leia. Attempts to destroy the traditional values the original 6 conveys and tries to replace them with the current awful SJW values, etc.

Did anybody here see the details from Lucas's leaked original ST outline that Disney and Jerk Jerk Abrams rejected? Then the irony of Ruin Johnson rejecting Abram's ideals, resulting in him having to make major asspulls to try to save SW plan 9. Supposedly Johnson and Abrams dislike each other.

Big star wars fan and i didnt think it was a bad movie(the last one was a bad movie). It did feel rushed and i think if they had done like the avengers endgame and had a part 1 and part 2, jj could have gave the story the more detail that it needed.

Can't stand them frankly. I remember seeing the first back in the early to mid eighties, then return of the Jedi and I stopped after that. So overplayed

This, exactly.

I F#%@ink hate Kylo's character.

You forgot the Lightsaber battle that killed the lame Sidius stand in no one remembers. It's like they forgot Luke was almost useless until Yoda trained him.

Is star wars the one where the British boy named Harry goes to a big Castle to join Spok and the nights watch to fight the white walkers while speaking clingon?

Or am I wrong?

After Star Wars The Last Abortion , I have had my fill of Disney's SJW politics. I have no desire to see the latest movie as a result. I could have literally came up with a better storyline in less than a day vs the drivel Disney came up with but Disney Star Wars isn't about telling a cool story, it's about pushing an agenda.

If Kathleen Kennedy stays the head of Lucusfilms, we'll be seeing Transgender Wars, a new trilogy about a gay female black/Asian/Wookie who uses The Force to bring racial and gender harmony throughout the galaxy. Who wouldn't want to see that?

The Mandalorian is good but that's because Kathleen Kennedy has nothing to do with it!

so much triggering going on here. lol.

42 year fan here, didn't agree with some of the direction JJ took things, and I thought Johnson's Last Jedi was a decent film. After 40+ years everyone's got their opinions as to what they want something to be and nobody is going to agree.

Kind of like what JJ did with Star Trek. In order to keep the franchise alive, it had to be brought into the 21st century. Which was awesome, too, btw. Predictably there were the usual "uuu ruint mah childhood" musings from that too.

Put big wheels on your car, watch star wars, eat the ice cream, move on. Already pre-ordered my 4K Steelbox from Best Buy bc I need it.

...

Really cracks me up to see people (not nec. here) b*tch about Disney "selling out." Really? Were you alive from 78 to about 85 to witness the commercial behemoth GL created? Its part and parcel of Star Wars and to pretend its anything less is a lie. Also, ROTJ and most of 1-3 still makes me cringe but I love it just the same.

The real crime here nobody is talking about
