I'm not saying that the Steelers didn't have some major ****ups, but had it not been for the shitty refs they still would've pulled out a win. Bill Vinovich can take his apology and stick it. Tomlin was PISSED in the post game conference.

That certainly didn't help, but honestly you can only blame themselves. There was more than enough time to make up for the terribly missed called, but 3 times in a row being offside for the game winning kick. Especially when if you hadn't jumped he would sent the game to OT with that miss.

Well Tevi got away with a false start in the first quarter on a scoring play, and the officials admitted they were wrong. Then on score number two, Desmond King didn't get called for his block in the back. That play should've been called back. Had either one of these blatantly obvious penalties been called, they still would've pulled out a win, not to mention the half of the offsides and holding calls were B.S.

I don't disagree that the Steelers committed some atrocious mistakes but the loss is as much the fault of the refs as it was the Steelers. Artie Burns should be out of a job and so should Boswell. Joe Haden should be on thin ice.

I'll shamelessly admit I was screaming and swearing at the television.

isn't it strange how things get "worked" out in the NFL.....isn't much difference between the NFL and Professional wrestling
Yeah, some weird rules. Punch or kick someone on the field and you maybe get fined and flagged because in the heat of the moment, sheet happens. But punch or kick someone off the field, and you'll be looking for a new job. Right K-Hunt? Say that 3 times fast! 🙂

When you have to play against the other team and the refs, you just better work harder. I'm sure over the years the Steelers were sometimes recipients of the good things that come from bad ref calls. So it evens out I guess. Happens to every team at some point.

Even so, no matter the refs screwing up, you can't do anything about it except play the game right and in the moment. You could also say if the Steeler's D-fence would have stepped it up, they wouldn't have had to blame anything on the refs. That is a cop-out anyway. The steelers WERE off-sides TWICE in a row on the FG attempt. Had they held their asses just a half a second, that field goal would have been missed and they would have had a chance. So no matter, when it counted, they fugged it up. Can't blame the refs when they had the game right in their hands at the moment it counted. And who's to say if they got the ball back they wouldn't have had a pick 6? We're never going to know. It's in the books. Got to look forward to next week.

it is more than just that game but I did shut it off when the officials "missed" a guy moved a few yards before the snap, take the ballgate and the bs that no one on any either team noticed the ball and the fact is that more points were scored in the 2nd half when the "official" ball was used. It was just a PR ploy to try to get more interest in the NFL whether it was interest for the "game" or the just the drama. There is a reason that the numbers are dropping in the NFL and going up or maintaining in the college games...

We don't handle losses well in Pittsburgh-
Fans of the same team fighting? As a Philly fan this makes me feel better. We have such a bad rep but we just throw snowballs at santa, batteries at Troy Aikman, and harass opposing teams arriving to the stadium haha
