Stick it to the man

Confucius say.........free money better than no money

Make the claim and get the insurance money since the other person was at fault and thats how it works.

Go to nondescript parking lot, likely an old factory with a T slot floor or some concreted in D ring in a cement pad that are everywhere in rust belt PA, grab log chain and wrap around straight portion of frame in front of the kink and tie firmly to the D ring or T slot in the concrete pad. Take floor jack and and push on straight portion of the frame on the other side of the kink until the jack maxes out or the kink comes out. If it doesn't come out, get a $50 bernzomatic mini MAP/o2 gas torch set and a fire extinguisher. Heat kinked area of frame and get a BFH to stress relieve the kink.

Boom, frame shop averted.

Step 2- go to Bob's country welding, hand them $50 and a case of Yuengling (since thats what people in pee-yay drink) and tell them to plate it. Ole Ricky will booger weld the rusty crack area up and tell him to make it pretty, he will grind the welds down a with a flap wheel and nobody will be the wiser 🙂

Today on my way to work a young man rear ended my 1996 F150 it truly was a accident
Everyone is ok
Deer ran out in front of the car two ahead of me everybody slams on the brake well the guy behind me he can’t stop hits me the car behind him hits him he then hits me again
So who pays
In Pa they are going to salvage title my truck due to the age and mileage
Everything works ac blows ice cold dual gas tanks work V8 with OD XLT with tow package 188K miles
Frame is broken see pictures
How bad is the insurance company going to shaft me
Glad everyone was ok! Sorry about your truck, that sucks :/

My Dad straightened our mailbox post when the snow plow bent it. Unbolted it and stuck it in the storm drain grate at the corner, and had my Mom push it straighter with the car bumper while he he'd it at the right angle. To this day he wonders where I learned 'dangerous but creative'.

The appraiser looked at my F150 today getting 2300$ and I keep the truck to use
That means I’m not putting a leaf spring 8.8 rear under the 87 mc I’m going to leave the 7.5 in it and put a 4.3 with a th350

is this good or bad?
Well it depends on how you look at it
The frame on the F150 is broken and I am not planning on repairing it
So I will drive it until the inspection runs out then use what parts I feel worthy of keeping some time next year
For now I’m just going to put the 87 MC on a diet use the stock SS rear and see what this hopped up 4.3 I have can do

so u had it 2 years and paid and basically paid 1400 for it....

Get some flat 1/4 inch x 3 inch steel plate, weld/bolt the bumper back into place and drive it for another 10 years
