Try not to laugh at my question. (and if you do, I want to see tears of laughter stream from your eyes)
When staring my 86 SS from cold I set the choke and then crank for 2 - 3 secs before it fires.
When I do the above but slightly crack open the throttle, it starts in less than a second.
Is there something wrong with the carb if the engine starts quicker with slight throttle opening?
I'm just puzzled but not concerned.
