Stock driveshaft loop and t56

Can/should i use the stock loop? I have to weld it back in but im pretty much decided on a 6 speed or bust. Ive heard it wont fit. I dont like doing stuff twice or unnecessarily so any suggestions would be awesome.

I have an LT1 and a t56 in my regal and the drive shaft loop that bolts to the floor will hit the yoke if I put it in. I'm not sure if I will make a drive shaft loop that fastens to the crossmember were the original Holes in the floor but for now I left it out. If I recall correctly I would have to move the loop back about 3 in but I need to check the rules for where the placement should be before I make a final decision.
