I believe my motor is a stock 1980 malibu sbc 350 motor. Ive added a set of heads, cam, intake, headers, stall and carb and Im having trouble getting it to start once the motor is warm. I was to add a mini starter and one that has more cranking power because the one im currently running is stock. Our STOCK motors come with a STAGGERED starter bolt pattern correct?

I dont want to spend a fortune on a starter, any luck with proform starters? im looking into this starter....

It should be easy to get to under the car 2 bolts and its out maybe use a swivel bit on your wrench if you cant get to it. They used on my 350 sbc a starter from a 96 Surburban for $90 it works great.
