Hi, I'm Scott from central Texas.

I have a '48 Plymouth that's all '83 Regal underneath, including a very clattery 3.8 - Looking for SIMPLICITY and ease of maintenance, I was wondering if there are parts to use that'll swap in a 250 straight 6 from the previous A bodies or otherwise. I'll do whatever I find in a donor car if I have to, but I like inlines. Bolt-in options please. Thanks a lot! 😀

The Chevy 250 uses the same chassis side mounts as a SBC. Trust me, I've done loads of Nova engine swaps. Should be a simple swap. I would advise you to stay away from later engines with the integral head.
Good Luck

Oh, and check these guys out....

Thanks - so to clarify, lower SBC mounts are used for straight 6 in As, will bolt into Hs; use upper mount parts for the engine used, and they will bolt on as well (no width or location discrepancy between the A and the H chassis) to the lower mounts; and this should locate the engine to where a trans will line up as well. So all I'm swapping really is SBC mounts and specific straight 6 mounts to get it in. Do I have it? Thanks again!!
