stuck without throttle cables

Does anyone make a throttle bracket for a 350 that'll work with all my factory 87 4.3 FI cables? The 4.3 bracket bolted right up to my last intake bolt and the spot on the top of the intake like it was made for it. But all my cables are about 3 inchs too short. Also will all my cables (throttle, cruise, and kickdown) work with a early 70's Q Jet??? Or do I need to do some more changeing? One cable (I believe it's the kickdown but cant remember right now) has a plastic almost horseshoe shap to it. What do I do?

I used the stock 2bbl V6 cable with my 1979 Q-Jet and it worked fine. You may wish to source one from a carb'd car to make it all work. It is pretty easy to change.

Acyually I think my cables will work. It's just my bracket is set too far back. The cables have plenty of slack in them. Probably just need a V8 bracket?!

Try that then. They are easy enough to find as pretty much any SBC Q Jet car, truck or van will have the same bracket.

No problem. Just make sure it's off a vehicle year that had a TV cable on the bracket.

lokar style bracket, throttle cable and kick down?? thats what i did, i love them because they are easy as can be to adjust them. if you get the ebay off brand ones they are similar quility and a bunch cheaper then real lokars

Yeah, but why spend money on the pretty stuff, when recycled junkyard parts will do the same thing?

true but i have a thing about making the motor look as nice on the outside as it does on the inside.....
