Hello G-Body owners. I have a 86 Cutlass with a 307. I need some tips on getting some spring to give my cutlass the original ride restore. I have search on summit racing and Jegs. Should I get with Moog Supension part#5379 coil springs?

Moogs are great for a stock like ride. These springs are linear, not variable pressure (like the originals)...ie, the aren't soft until compressed then, at a point, firm up due to variations in the tightness of the coil (ala Moogs cargo-master series). The short...if you want a stock ride, these are the spring. If a sportier ride is your goal, Eibach makes a decent spring (part number 3803.14 is for the GNX and should work for Cutlass as well). If lowering is not your thing, then there are several "sport" springs available...all listed for the Regal or Monte SS. Same frame, same suspension, and similar engine weights. They will work. Its all whether you want the "soft" original ride, or a more sport tuned suspension (Pontiac folks forgive me...)...but of course, firmer ride.
