I am currently doing the suspension on my 84 Monte SS.
I used the following webpage for steering components such as inner & outer Tie rods, Upper & Lower Balljoints and Heavy Duty Idler arm.
Everything bolted in nicely and I rented a tool to install the lower Ball joints.

I installed Poly bushings on all A-Arms and rented a tool for the installation as well.
For the front springs I went with the Moog 5660 springs for an S-10
I started by cutting 1/2 coil off and got about a 1/2" drop from the tired sagging stock coils.
I then cut off another 1/2 coil for a total of 1 full coil removed.
I ended up with a total drop of about 1 1/2" - 2" on the front end.
Look for an article called "Spring options for G-Bodies" by Matthew Daughterty, this is the article I used.
Car with original coils still in.

When I pushed the car out of the garage, the tires where about 1" below the wheelwell lip.
I was a little concerned that the tires would rub but it's to late now and I am not going to remove them a third time.
I will not know how or if they are going to rub until the car is completely rebuilt and road worthy.
I am going to use F-Body coil, Moog CC365 in the rear with the 82-00 F-Body rubber spring isolator
I will be able to trim the spring to ajust the ride height in the rear by using the F-body spring & isolator,
This is also a firmer spring then G-Body springs
