I have a 72 Chevy Cheyenne that has a sb 350 and I want to swap to Olds 350. For all that want to know why I'm doing this it's because I have a low mile Olds 350 crate motor and a blown sbs, trying to keep this a low budget swap. Any advise or tips would be appreciated.
You will need SBO frame mounts. What style of mounts are in that truck? You also need a BOP trans or an adapter plate. I was told the Trans Am mounts would bolt right in to my 94. They bolt to the motor mounts and the block but hooking the two together requires fabrication. You can always do what I did to my 78 1/2 when I went Olds power, weld the frame mounts to the frame 😀 . I used an adapter to hook up the 4L60E on the Olds 350. The Olds V8 is a great truck engine.
