I have a lot of respect for the BBB. It's no slouch. Only brought up the BBO for ease of swap. They seem to be easier to find and cheaper to build too.

I still say Olds 350 stroker, a more forgiving package and unique. Make sure the oil pump housing isn't worn on the Buick 455, T/A Performance sells a new one. Guys tend to have bottom issues just like Olds 455. Unless it is setup right, it means carnage.

TA's 455 covers are actually made in the USA (unlike their chinese "worked over" 350/231 covers). All you will really need to put the 455 Buick in your car are frame pads and motor mounts from a '70 Skylark with a 455.
