im trying to replace my front sway bar links and front sway bar mount bushings with energy suspension products..in order for me to get the right set for the swaybar mount bushings i need to know the diameter of the swaybar.. does any one know the diameter of a front sway bar for a 1985 cutlass supreme? also part # would help too...thanx

Best way to be sure is just measure it, when I did mine I took it off the car and measured at the spot the old bushing sat on, I just used a 1"-2" mic and converted the number over to a fraction to get the correct bushing. I'm pretty sure these cars could have come with any number of different bars in them, not sure if any way of knowing what bar you have without physically measuring it.

According to the GM service manual they're either 25mm ( standard ), 29mm with the FE2 suspension, or 32mm with the F41 suspension.

The down dirty way is to use an adjustable crescent wrench, tighten the jaws around the bar, remove the wrench and then use a tape measure to measure the gap. That would get you close enough to figure out what you have.
