I am new here and a new G body owner. I am looking to upgrade my sway bar in the front and adda arear sway bar. I had a V-6 originally and now a V-8. What cars should I be looking for to get a larger diameter sway bar for the front and rear? I would like to stay factory Gm stuff. Thanks Steve

The rear bar and thicker front bars came on all GN/Ttype/442/MCSS and any car that came with the F41 suspension package option. Often you can find a sticker plastered to the inside trunk lid that will have the option codes. Again look for F41. I have an extra whole set but shipping would not be friendly.
Well,he said the V8 version. How much smaller were the V6 bars compared to the stock front V8 bars? And the difference between stock front V8 bars & thir V8 F41 counterparts?
Go to JEGS and look at the Suspension Techniques sway bars. They are reasonably priced and work very well. They may seem pricey but paying freight on a used set will be expensive. When purchased from JEGS freight is only about $11. If you have a driver and like to go around corners fast you also need to switch to S10 front springs or at least V8 malibu front springs. Anyways, good luck!
