Switch pitch conversion kit for TH400?

His is a Chevy pattern or it would have been mine. :mrgreen:

A friend has one in his GTO. It uses the stock column shifter for the trans and he installed a floor shifter for hi/low stall. Fun stuff.

This is what I'm probably going to be doing. The guy I'm buying my heads from has a TH350 that he'll let go for $50. I'll just go through it and build it the way I want before putting it in.

At least this way it's a direct swap into the car. I don't have to bother with the early frame rail issue, no modifying the drive shaft or changing the yoke, no bothering with swapping rear end or shelling out the cash for a built 2004r either.

And if anyone else is interested, there's a guy over on V8Buick selling one of the PAE kits. The last post about it was almost a month ago and he's been trying to sell it since September.
