Are the t-tops the same from 78-88 on G-bodies?

I saw an ad on craigslist for a pair of 83 Cutty T-tops and wondered if they all interchange.

I'm pretty sure they are the same, but beware that there are the factory "Fisher" style tops, and the different C&C dealer installed tops.

Looking at the two, the difference is clear as day.

After doing a little reading, I think that the '78-'80 T-tops may be different from the '81-'88 T-tops... be careful before you buy. Even better if you can drive your car over there and see if they fit if they're local.
