Had a tough problem finishing up the center console with my T56. Had to fabricate a center bracket to hold the console in place. Couldn't find a shifter boot that would work. Ended up with 5 shifter boots from the wrecking yard and none could be adapted to work. Ended up reading on the net that a Corvette C5 boot would work. Paid $73 for this leather boot. I think because its for a Corvette that I got charged so much. The boot didnt quite work out with the bracket I made. Had to modify the bracket slightly.

Looks pretty decent.
I bet that thing's awesome to drive. On an unrelated note, what mph does first gear top out at with your 6 speed?

Looks good!! I still have to figure this out and imo looks good!

what shifter did you use? Also how much did you end up cutting out of the floorboards?
