Tachometer location?

In looking into tachs for my regal, because I definately want to know whats going on under the hood, but I don't want a huge tach drilled into my dash. Where can I find a small, reliable tachometer, that I can put either under the dash, or on the a pillar? Or could I get a gn/ t type cluster and make the tach in it work on my regal?

Here's the A pillar gauge pod I used in my car, along with a 2 5/8 sunpro mini supertach 2 I purchased long ago and was sitting in a box.
