The spot for the fiber optic cable is labeled on non fiber optic taillights, just drill it out.

THANKS - i guess i can get some replacement tailight lenses now without worrying that they wont work right (safety speaking) - i never would have dreamed there was fiber optics in an 1986! I understand now. I noticed those little front fender things each have 3 FO leads each coming in. I dont have to mess with em tho. Glad of that - well on to the next mystery.
