Should I buy a G-body that's in better condition, or put that money toward my rusty 79?

85--Yup, I've read all about your bodywork adventures! I understand your perfectionist ways about the car's body; and, although I believe in "good enough," I have nowhere near the experience you do. My Cutlass is what you might call a lot to deal with, for a novice.

Thank you all for the replies!

The scary thing is that not all of the work is documented. Some of it was done years ago the last time I painted it. The car was not really driven after that paint job, so it was more or less straight-save a few storage scars. Some of the new rust was because I ran out of money last time and could not put windows back in it. Even now, it has sat since September as I spent my time on school instead of an old car I don't absolutely need.

I will also add that I HATE bodywork! This is why I tried to do the rust repairs right and treat the back side of the welds so I don't have to do it all over again. I have hundreds of hours in that car, hours of my life I will never be able to get back. I wish I didn't, but live and learn.
