HAVE A QUESTION, AS I AM NOT SURE THE RIGHT WAY TO GO, I HAVE A NUMBERS MATCHING 87 442 WITH THE 200R4 AND 307. I AM WANTING TO DISCONNECT THE CUMPUTER, WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO THE transmission SO I DONT COOK IT? I KNOW I HAVE TO RUN 12 VOLT TO IT, BUT WHERE??? AND FROM WHERE IGNITION? BATTERY??

Get a converter lock-up kit. There are many different ones on the market and they come with instructions. And turn off your caps!

On a different note, why are you dumping the computer on a rare numbers matching car? You will NOT gain any performance. Keep what you have. If the carb has issues, just fix em.
 
im dumping the computer, because im just about ready to pull the 307 slug from it. the car has suffered long enough with 307 and i dont think i can take it myself,lol so im going to put a diff engine in it.

unless you want to buy the car before i start to gut the slug from it.
