The passenger doesn't look so bad (nervous, along-for-the-ride type), but the driver is a total tool. I could see the driver bein' fired and the passenger being written up for not ratting the driver out. Far as making right with the customer, not quite sure on that... seeing that it was a little hot rodding while the engine was cold, maybe some free oil changes are mostly what I see being offered...
