Here's some pictures of the finished product. I have a new grill I haven't put on yet but you get the idea. First two pics are from a few years ago... those after are recent

there is a guy down the street from me that builds custom trailers. i just measured the length that separated my frame horns. measure yours because mine and my grandpas montes were very slightly different. 1x1 angle iron would work also, 1x2 was a little bit of a squeeze but worked fine. cost me $24 and i primered it and painted it red. made a huge noticeable difference as soon as i took it for a test drive. I would highly recommend it. any steel supplier should carry angle iron

Thank you for sharing all the great pics. You look like a nice couple.
The car looks great, man.
Your grandpas Monte looks sweet.

Looks like you accomplished a good deal of work on the car...kudos to you. Keep up the good work and show us what you're up to.
We'll be checking on your progress...😉
next up for me is a rear disc swap and an electronic vacuum pump since this cam is sucking the life out of my power brakes ! can't wait to have this thing braking like a champ.

Very nice work! Excellent build! I like where you put the vacuum canister, looks nice and tidy in and out!
yeah no need for wipers for me, I don't drive it in the rain nor do I ever plan on selling it. Also saves a ton of weight haha. Jk. Soon it will be gone. I'll be doing a bbody master cylinder and brake booster upgrade along with a summit racing vacuum pump. The canister helps out but my cam is a mutherthumper and it sucks the life out of my power brakes. I only get 7" of vacuum at idle. Can't wait to get that pump and see how well this thing really stops.
