Thanks it's a Linginfelter ls1 backed up by a t56Welcome to the site from Houston. Cool looking car. What's under the hood?
Thanks. Those are 18 by 9 with a 4 3/4 backspace, and that old car has probably been yellow for as long as the crusher Camaro..Nice wheels. I have the same ones lol. What size are you running on the rears? Reminds me of the crusher Camaro. It also has the same wheels and it's yellow.
Thanks bud, good to hear I'm not the only one left in the flatlands who loves a g bodyWelcome from Regina! Good looking Malibu!
The suspension on the car is all bmr drop coil and adjustable 4 link, my car is running a ford 9 inch rearend, so i have a little bit more room for backspacing, i have about an inch from tire to frame and an inch to the outside fender lip. When i was drag racing the car i cut the welds on the frame and pinched the frame together to give me more clearance to make up for the anemic sized rear wheel wells. the wheels are a US mag wheel 18x9 on the rear and 17x8 on the front, havent had any issues with rubbing on the front or rear. Tire sizes on the rear are 255 45 18 and the fronts are 245 45 17. Cost of the wheels were around $200 americanWelcome Mac; And TheOldsOne, you guys got some fine wheels! I've been looking at them or some very similar. Please post the manufacture's name & the wheel style. And better - closer pictures would be very welcome. Especially the rear clearance of tire side wall (Sizes Too) & inner fender lip. Are ya on 18's also TheOldsOne? Have either of you guys notched the frame? And did you lower the car with shorer springs or dropped spindles? Of course if your inclined, how much are these wheels in dollars? Thank you fellas, Ol'e Bob.
