So I have to send a 5 page fax. No problem with the Cannon GP 200 I have. So I put the documents on the feeder and hit the fax button, dial in the number and hit send and take off to the wash room. When I come back from the litle boys room my Cannon has all of it's 10 sorting trays filling with paper. I had hit the copy button instead of the fax. Now you know why I'm self employed, no one would hire me..

Lmao. Reminds me of my first week on te job kinda. Had to use this huge xerox printer and I was looking at it like wtf. Where do I start. I never used one before but now I'm a pro. Js

LOL I do that at least once a week ( but I normally catch it by the time the 10th copy has come out and stop the machine )

Not the same as a Xerox machine... Though i used to work on them before i switched careers. I got handed a follow up job yesterday, I had to finish up a John Deere injection pump that all it needed was to be buttoned up.Well in trying to finish it up ASAP i dropped the gear washer into the engine's front cover.. I tried to fish it out with no luck and had to end up taking off the engine cover on a Elgin street sweeper series NP and tearing apart the engine. What sucks is that it needed to be ready for today but i FAILED!! I went in to tell my boss and said "bad news boss" in which he responded "What did you drop a bolt into the engine?" and i said "No just the the washer" He replied i did the same thing when he was working on the floor and did the same job.. Made me feel alot better but in the haste of trying to rush things i screwed up worse!! It ended turning a 2hr job into a 8hr job just tearing it apart not counting getting it put back together!! :? Oh well guess it's better then hiding it and replacing a engine later!!

Oops. Good thing you told your boss about it though. Honesty is still the best policy. About 20 years ago when I was first starting out, I had a job at a body shop. I would pick up and drop off a lot of cars. Took the company truck out one day to pick up a car from a dealership, it was about 50 miles away. Left the truck there and brought the car back for a same-day job. Job got done, I rush back out near the end of the day to drop the car off and pick up the work truck. I get there...crap, no keys. In my rush to get back before quitting time, I had left them on the board. Had to call back to the shop and have someone bring the keys out to me. The boss was not very happy. To this day, I'm always very careful about keys. 🙂

Yeah only thing that sucks that it's still waiting for me after a 6 days off!! BOOO!! oh well i like to finish what i start
