Funny thing is it's only 10 degrees more than the BTR stage 2 I had which idled really nice at 650rpm, I never took a vacuum reading but it felt good. I have a bit more static compression with the 823 heads so it might not be terrible. I can adjust the injection end angle at idle to compensate too Besides I only really need 14 in/hg.....That is a lot of cam - good thing you have an aftermarket ECU to run it. Because the low vacuum is going to make driving interesting... and would cause fits with a stock computer.

What do you think? Sounds about right for a hot rod.I suppose my concern lies with the BTR Stg 2 (essentially the same cam I have in my wagon, idles in the 650 to 700 rpm range) having 4* of overlap, and your GMPP cam having 21* of overlap. She's going to want some added idle speed for sure.
