They sure did. Could have got them to work but would have rubbed the outer fender. 😡

275 rears sold, 245s going out back and I'll have to get 215s for the fronts.

I dunno. The 275s looked right out back and fit with minimal work. 225/60s as previously suggested would suit your needs. Lots of Turbo Buick owners fit 235s to the stock front wheels (it looks like trash, IMO) on stock height cars... you are not stock height.

Gonna get a couple used mock up tires. Not be a retard and buy another set that don't fit. 😡

Got a ton of stuff checked off the list the last 2 days.

Yesterday I finished up the rear suspension, got the pinion angle dialed in, recentered the rear end, installed the rear shocks, and went through every nut and bolt on the back end.

It looks good. 👍

Today I did the same on the front, set the ride height, checked every nut and bolt on the suspension and mounts for everything, ran the evap line, installed the bumper, header, lights, signals, inner fenders, finished the hood install and finish adjusted the fenders.

I finished the shifter install, the dash install with bezel and driver seat with the power tracks on the hoopty MCSS seat.

What is the only thing to do when you are almost fully assembled. Take her outside for a photoshoot.

Maybe a pic in the street.

Dumped a Jerry can of premium into her to check the fuel gauge... Works perfect!

Might as well take it for a rip down the street!

So I did.

First off, it has a few rattles. And it rides a little stiff, and with the 245s on the back there isn't much traction, although the road was still pretty covered with gravel from winter.

Half throttle pull to 3000 and a shift breaks the back end loose. Hahahaha, it shifts nice and hard.

Gonna need to install the seatbelts, because when I whipped it around it did grab and hauled her nice and flat around the corner.

Happy day for me. Calling for insurance first thing Monday morning. 😀

:friday: congrats on the maiden voyage!

I just found this build thread a few days ago. Been ready through the whole thing and following updates.

Congratulations on getting it this far this fast.

Wish I could find some of your dedication to completing a project!

Thanks man, much appreciated.

This is far from over, I kinda put a big rush on it in the last couple weeks because it needs to be mobile so I can put my house up for sale. That and I want to drive her. 🙂

I'm digging the Bimmer wheels; what kind of spacers are required to mount them up?
The E92 wheels need 1.25" in the rear and 1.7" up front. I haven't pulled the trigger on proper front adapters yet as I want to get hub centric on the wheel side and the only options are custom made. Right now they are just an adapter with a spacer to verify fitment.
