HI everyone just wanted to introduce myself before I get started in your forum world. Im only 20 and currently live in the Northwestern Florida(Pensacola area) But Im from Augusta Ga where I lived for 19 yrs. I recently decided to pull my 87' Buick regal out and get to work since Im past do. Its been sitting for about a year since I bought it. Well here we go.

Only paid $300 with power everything and nothing is wrong with it. Drove it from SC to GA a 2hr trip all it needed was a tune up.(my current project with no rust)

and my first car was a 86' 4 door Cutlass that I didnt even have long enough to get pics.

Welcome!

What a steal on the Buick! The $300 cars I buy tend to be a little rougher...

Nice Impala SS... I've got a '96 Caprice myself... same color too.

Nice regal... Looks exactly like mine, except yours has nicer paint and mines got that cheesy fake wood grain on the dash and door panels.

Yeah I actually like the black brushed looking trim alot.

Yeah it's quite nice you're lucky, its much more classy by today's standards... I'm sure the wood grain must have been "cool" or "high class" back in 1986 (in the case of mine) but it just looks lame today. I'm pry just gonna take some of that krylon plastic bonding paint and cover most of that in mine. It worked great on the grill of my old F250 so I don't see why it wouldn't look good on my dash. Probably end up doing that on my grill and headlight bezels too since I want them black instead of chrome and replacement parts are expensive especially when you've already got perfectly good ones.

(I'll pry test it on one of the rear panels first though just in case it looks terrible).

Anyways congrats on the buy... I paid a lot more than that and yours is nicer, so I'm jealous.
