I saw this in a shopping plaza in Springfield Illinois. Owner was super friendly, said it is a one owner bought new. Parks away from others as much as possible to avoid door dings. All original

A few rides from our local Cars and Coffee Sunday morning. I know they're not all G-bodies, but cool to me. Grandma 78 Cutlass with LS swap. Slick black Malibu with rumpity rump setup. Low mile (18,000?) GN owned by the daughter of Hellcat swapped 70 Challenger. Karrman Ghia body swapped onto a Miata chassis. Caterham 7.

can't imagine how much custom work that Karmann Ghia swap was.... The unoccupied, but weathertight, house on the corner has a Ghia in the two-car garage - I spied it while snooping around walking the dog. There is like blanket of dust on everything and vintage oil cans on shelves, etc.. The owners are in their '80s and live elsewhere in town.

I saw several different ones today.
I've posted a pic of the muscle car restoration shop that I drive by often, this one was out front today.

Dodge Charger. They have been doing a lot of Broncos in the last several months. The two Mustangs belong to the owners or employees I believe, because they are always parked out front, and driven.
I saw this Delorean a little bit earlier.

The Delorean lives somewhere out past the muscle car shop. I have seen it several times before also, but always traveling in the opposite direction from me.
This El Camino was at the transmission shop a block away from the jobsite that I'm working.

The next pair is on a property I drive by about one mile before the muscle car shop. I didn't notice them on my first pass today, but did see them on my second pass. I have seen the tail end of the pale yellow one in the driveway of the property, but now it has been moved. There is another car way
in the background, a Toronado maybe?

As if seeing all of these in the same day weren't enough, I saw these next two while waiting for curbside dinner pickup at my local Fish&Chips joint.

There's something you never see anymore...well, except you, I guess!

Being on the road 10 hrs every day for my job gives me a higher than average opportunity to see "classic" cars. Most times, they pass by quicker than I can get my phone ready for a pic. On the El Camino pic, for instance, as I went in to the jobsite that I am working, there was a gorgeous 63ish Impala at the transmission shop, but it was gone when I left the jobsite. In the background of the second El Camino pic is the dumptruck that I drive. I had also pulled over in front of the muscle car shop waiting for the Delorean to pass me. He had been following me from the intersection where I got the pic until about 1-3/4 miles before the muscle car shop when he turned into the gas station mini mart. I am sure he lives up the hwy from where I pulled over because I have passed him going in the opposite direction many times. I pulled over also for the Cutlass pic because the G Cutlass had been moved to where it is more visible, and because the A Cutlass looks like a new acquisition to the property.
The two while waiting for dinner were fun coincidences.
