I was supposed to post this several days ago, but was too busy. I bought property in Medford, Or. about 3 months ago, and took a trip from Seattle to Medford to work on the place. This Elky is along the route from my place to the hardware store. I got the pics and left a note for the owner.
Later on the same day, he drove past me on the other end of town, so I followed him, met and introduced myself, showed him both the GBF website and the elcaminocentral.org website.

Spotted a bunch today since I had a nice 4 hour excursion......first the latest in line at the LS Swap shop

Must have been first gen Talon and Porsche day, spotted 3 Talon's on the way out and like 4 Porches on the way back

Then beauty and the beast at the paint shop

I remember those Eagle Talons. IIRC I've seen one in the last 30 yrs and that was about a year ago

Yeah I don't see them that often, my one buddy is big into them. So when I see them I try to shoot them his way. Couldn't believe I seen 3 in one trip

hmm. the only thing wrong with the sti is it has viscous couplers (vs torsen diffs) and cant hit 40psi like the 4g63t equivalent. Otherwise I'd think you'd be surprised what it can do with a bigger turbo & tuning, and how many v8's they can leave in the dust. What it lacks in torque it makes up for in traction, on the street a big v8 means nothing.

I remember those Eagle Talons. IIRC I've seen one in the last 30 yrs and that was about a year ago

We had a 5 speed Eagle Talon TSI as a shop vehicle at Tech school. It had no plates and wasn't supposed leave the school parking lot. Well one day me and a friend had to test drive after an alignment. Need less to say we had a REALLY fun time in the business park the school was located in. Didn't even get caught.
