Well, I am BORED right now, and so I thought I would list some stuff to do online when you are bored. Feel free to add to the list if you too are bored.

1. p*rn. The number one reason most people use the internet.

2. Craigslist. The personals are entertaining, Free stuff is good and you may even find something you want.

3. Wikipedia. Have something on your mind? Just want to learn something new? Well... Wikipedia likely has something entertaining to read about

4. Youtube. Find TV shows from other countries, old Car ads, and just plain old stupid people.

5. Hack Something. Have an iPod and dislike iTunes? Google it. Dislike some other piece of software or hardware you own and want to improve it? Google that too. If it is a popular device or program, someone somewhere has hacked it and posted how online.

6. Blog. It's free on places like Myspace and it gives you a chance to b*tch and maybe get an audience.

7. Forum Posting. Answer questions and actually help someone make their life easier or better.

Okay, out of ideas. Post some more that I forgot or didn't think of.

I spend a lot of my bored time here. Yesterday, I got bored and replaced the front shocks on my GP (Monroe Sensa-Tracs, nothing spectacular). I also used some bored time a few days earlier to replace the windshield and rear driver-side window of my girlfriend's Ford Focus.

YouTube is a wonderful time killer. I can spend hours (particularly when I'm bored at work) finding things like this, this and this.

Wikipedia is my drug. I tend to waste hours on it... I'll start off on one topic... say, for instance, quantum mechanics and, over the course of eight hours or so of link-following and reading, end up reading about west Germanic languages. I often learn something I didn't expect to along the way.

If I'm really bored, there's always my ongoing Playstation hockey dynasty. I've been playing the same dynasty for years, I refuse to let Jeremy Roenick retire (57 years old and he's still pushing out 50-goal seasons!) and I've won the cup more times than the Canadiens.

I can't think of much else that I do when bored. Oh... I, too, like to break into electronic devices. I have a completely hacked, 4GB Palm Tungsten E2 that I've converted into everything but the kitchen sink, and that I absolutely cannot live without. And a PowerMac Dual G4 that I've modified beyond what it was ever intended for.

Yeah.

That's about it, I guess.

the DOOM saga, especially 3

Quake

engineering my cars' suspensions

hiking and photography

guitar

old movies

sharpening my knives---i've got to stop that, i slipped the other week and practically cut my fingertip in half, right through the nail.

I forgot about Quantum Mechanics! one of my all-time favorite things to screw my mind up with! Ever go to Stephen Hawking's site and read some of his lectures? The stuff he speaks on for his students is almost incomprehensible as it uses verbage I have never even seen before. Plus, I have not taken Calculus yet and so the math is beyond my current knowledge.
