throttle cable to short

As a lot of you guys know I am putting a LT1 in my cutlass and I just ran into a problem that I cant seem to solve I started putting together the accelerator linkage and my throttle cable is too short, I am wondering which cable could I get at the local parts store or online that wold fit my cutlass and reach the throttle body on my LT1?

no v8 car Im installing a fuel injected LT1 into a factory v8 carbed car. I need a cable to reach from the pedal to the throttle body

measure how short yours is and add that to your cable, see if the store has the length you need. I just bought one and they had 3 different lengths for a G body

I dont think the factory g body throttle cable will built up to a throttle body no matter how long it is

I would say try a 3rd or 4th gen camaro that has an LT1.

or go after market.

Whats wrong with a Lokar or similar cable? Also, is there a way for you to measure the length you need from the firewall to the throttle? I was just thinking that maybe a factory truck linkage or something similar might work.

X3 or a B-body Roadmaster or Caprice.

I used a roadmaster cable for my LT1 conversion and it worked perfectly. No fitment issues at all.
