time to piece her back together

i have the electric fans setup on the mc ss radiator now but i don't have a shroud setup or top plater holder yet. i see some people are selling the regal gn radiator top plates but would they work for our v-8 radiators. when i look up part numbers online the gn 3.8 has a different radiator than our v-8's. i dont wanna buy it then be stuck with another paper weight. those of us that use electric fans, what do you use for the top plate/ radiator retainer?

Nope, clutch fan, here' what they look like though..

you can see the shroud bolt to the top plate.

Remove the shroud and you can mount the electric fan to it

thanks for the info and pic. what are those fans off of anyway?

No problem...Those are off an 04ish V8 Aurora, little big and require shroud trimming, but as you can see cover the entire core 8) .
