On my 86' Regal I wanted to match the diameter and width of my previous 15" rims and tires so I went with 17 x 8.5" rims all around and have Nitto 235/50 on the front and 275/50 on the rear.

I prefer to keep the same size tires all around. Helps with tire wear and rotationThanks for the reply. We have something in common. I"m in the middle of buying a black-tan Aerocoupe. Non T tops. I"m going to replace the cragers.
Thanks for the reply. Killer Malibu, love the color. Bill WV275/35/18 all around running Riken Raptor which were on sale at the time for $86 thru Tirerack.com No rubbing.View attachment 162923
Those are some nice wheels on your ride, Sharky. They remind me of the chrome KMC wheels that I'd usually mount on my truck, albeit much bigger in diameter, of course.View attachment 162907
These are mine: 18 inch tires on Summit Racing rims. 105 bucks apiece 4 yrs ago. Tires are firestone firehawks.View attachment 162908
Thanks. I wanted a nice lip on the rims, and something easier to keep clean than my stock 15 inchers. Tires are 255/40/18 up front and 275/40/18 out back . Diameter on the front is slightly less than stock, and rear tires are taller by half an inch. I've been really happy with this setup about 5 yrs now. Those are some nice wheels on your ride, Sharky.
