Looks like the BFGs are my only option since I need 2 different sizes. I can find RWLs in other brands for either one size or the other but not both. I'll check with my parts guy at work in the morning to see if he has any other options. Otherwise it's BFGs for me. Thanks guys.
The BFG's are what I went with. IMO the best looking tire for classic cars besides the old red line tires on the REAL classic cars. I prefer the white letter look.
Had ordered BFG from Summit in Atlanta got there to pick they couldn't find them an inventory error....all they had left was Mickey Thompson S/Ts which the made me a deal and gave a $25.00 gift certificate to take them......well I have been a fan of the tire ever since......
i think the BFG's are the best looking
the performance of the tires, are definitely crap, but I would only buy em for the look...if you want performance, get some DR's or upsized newer tread design tires
I paid $500 for a set of 225/60/15 BFG's, not including tax or mount/balance
205/70/14 looks great with 245/60/14 as they are 25.4 & 25.6 tall for a slight rake. Factory height was 25.5 tall if I am not mistaken so your speedo / odo should be correct as well. Best looking size combo for a 14 on a gbody IMO
