are you keeping it on the street or just a drag car. got a friend that runs a 388 in his MC SS. its a 2 bolt motor turning 10.90's going through the traps at close to 7000rpm's. I personaly have had bad luck with .060 motors on the street.
 
oh and i also have a 383 in my car that has a slightly bigger cam than yours than i run on the street. I will never go back to a 350 after building this motor.
 
i am studding the mains in the .060 block but i have decided to keep it normal stroke for now. I already had all the parts to keep it that way since the motor was just built and i am going back and freshening everything up since i had a cam failure. and there is so much more to do to this build that i want such as a 4 speed conversion.
