Hello. Today I installed a new TCC solenoid, along with filter into my 87 Olds, with a 2004r. The lock up had not been working, and the trans has always shifted fine. My OTC scan tool shows that the TCC is getting a signel, but still no lock up. I am sure the new part is installed correctly.
My question is...could the clutch in the torque converter be worn out or defective? Any advice is appreciated, thanks.
