I'm running a BBC gonna be pulling out the th400 Chevy trans and the reason is don't know who build it and a buddy and I swapped th400 years ago cause I had a reverse valve body and he had this one and I didn't want to go with the reverse valve body on the street so I have my Olds th400 on the shelf I know is built very good hasn't been in a car for ten years. So was just seeing if anyone has used a adapter plate or still has one on there car
Here is what I was looking at comes with bolts and spacers

I am not sure why you would have an issue with the reverse valve body on the street, I have been running a reverse full manual valve body on the street for many years and I wouldn't want any other way.
As far as trans adapters I have ran then a couple times but behind very mild performance SBC's, I don't think I would want a "band aid" set up like that behind a BBC or any real performance application though.

I put my 71 442 OG transmission TH400 (code OG, not just gangsta) behind a crate 502 BBC in my bubba truck/yard ape. It's taken everything I've thrown at it. I got mine from Summit.

Thanks for the input
There was more to the first trans too another buddy of ours built it but his stuff never lasted long in my eyes and the buddy I swapped with wanted so bad to put it in nova and he still working on putting the car together so when that trans let's loose I'll sell him his old trans back to him or trade for some of his paint and body work on my wagon and bumper fillers on my 83 regal either way it's a win-win for both of us

Why not just swap everything from the BOP trans to the Chevy case so you don't have to use an adapter?
