Try adjusting the TV cable first. Search around for a how to. Been a long time since I have done it but its not hard. The TV cable runs to your throttle linkage. In your case I am guessing you have a throttle body, so take off all the air cleaner stuff. From there you shoudl be able to see the linkage clearly and you will see a cable going back toward the transmission, its hard to miss. I know you pull out or press down on some clip and push the trottle all the way back while the car is off of course and then press the clip back in or out, really cant remember but try finding a how to and then see if that helps.
