trans question

I have an 87 olds cutlass w/ 307 HO 700r trans from factory. will a SBC or a BBC bolt up to the trans? what else will I have to change to bolt in a chevy motor.

It's a TH200-4r not a 700-r4. Yes a SBC or BBC will bolt up, but the big block will tear it apart.

thanks. i would get it rebuilt and beefed up b 4 BBC. Do you think it would b able to handle a zz 454?
