transmission cooler lines with headers

I used to run stock cooler lines with Hooker headers in my GP. I don't own the car anymore and I don't have any pics but I used to have a trans temp gauge also and IF I remember correctly the temps used to be around 230* or so. I had the sender in the pan.

did you have to bend them in a weird way or did it all fit just fine?
 
I have the stock lines with Hooker Comps. 83 monte. They fit just fine, lots of clearance, no bending required.
 
well the previous two post helped alot. i have a set of factory replacement SS transmission cooler lines on the way. i was going to bend them myself but opted to take the less time consuming route.
