IMO it's not even close. 2004r hands down. Non overdrive trannys are great for drag racing, not for street cars with steep gearing. You don't need to be at highway speeds to benefit from OD either. They work great at slower speeds too. Overall OD, saves gas, makes less noise, and puts less wear on the engine all due to keeping the revs down.
