Trimming door handles

First take the door panels apart and remove the linkage to the door handle, the door handle should come off at this point. After that you need to make a plate and weld over the hole where the handle was and then you can finish it off with some filler and then paint. I would first get a kit for the deleted door handles and see what you need as far as remote openers, that should give you a good idea where to start.

check out some off my pics, i did this to my regal and i bought the door poping kit of ebay.

I did this one time using the lock. I simply took the linkage inside the door that opens the door and welded it to the linkage controlled by the lock cylinder. I had shaved door handles but the lock was still there. You just put the key in the lock and turned it and the door popped open. Didn't cost me a dime.... Just a little time.

I prefer the spal kit I have had my s10 shaved and driven it as DD for the last 7 years like that and never a problem
